Collingwood United Mens Premier Team
will be playing Waterloo in the next round of the Ontario Cup this
Sunday, June 13th, at 4pm at Fisher Field.
This is the highest level of soccer in Collingwood,
so come out and support the team and watch some great soccer!
Men’s Premier Team start the season strong!
Collingwood United Men’s Premier soccer team start the season with 6 straight wins. The team started their winning streak with a win against Bradford May 27nd, 6-2, then over to Innisfil on May 29th, 3-2. Collingwood continued their winning ways with wins over Owen Sound 4-1 and then Bradford on June 10th, 6-0. During that time the team played in the Ontario Cup against Stradford and in the Traganitis Cup against Orillia. The team came away with wins in both games. The team is playing well together and is working hard to accomplish their goal of winning the Premier Division in the YRSL Senior Division. For the first time ever Collingwood United Premier Men's team have entered the Ontario Cup.
The Ontario Cup is the highest level amateur soccer competition in Ontario. Please come out and support our top local soccer team as they attempt to progress through the opening round of this prestigious competition.
