Girls 2010 All-Star/Development Program
The Collingwood United Soccer Club (CUSC) is very excited to introduce the 2010 All-Star/Development program. This program, now being lead by the CUSC Vice President of Travel Teams, will be following the clubs new direction in developing representative athletes. The focus of this program will be the sound development of players, not wins and losses. It is far more important at this stage of the game to have as many athletes as possible touch the ball than having the absolute strongest players pressing for a win.
This group will play in the CUSC Invitational Tournament in June, and at the discretion of the coaches and parents additional tournaments and exhibition games.
In a desire to meet the club’s objectives the program will be starting much earlier than in the past. As always the kids must play in House League to qualify for this program. A strong desire to improve your skills and the ability to listen and work hard are the key attributes needed to participate
in this program.
